1.  Eisenhower was so impressed by (fill in version A or B) that he wanted the country crisscrossed with highways for troop movement reasons. (A=Autobahns, B=Lincoln highway, Carl Fisher’s highway system)
2. Hitler (the mad genius) designed the autobahns and the Volkswagen
3. Without the State all roads would be toll roads
4. Privates roads were tried and failed due to lack of maintenance
